Aim for More — We Sell Your Watch for You
An outright sale gives you certainty today. Consignment aims for a higher final price over a little more time — and we handle the photography, marketing and buyers so you do not have to. Terms are always agreed with you in writing first.
Three simple stages
We agree terms in writing first
Before anything happens we agree a target price and the terms in writing, so you know exactly where you stand. No surprises and no open-ended commitments.
We present your watch properly
We photograph, describe and market the watch to the right buyers — the work, cost and time-wasting that makes selling privately such a chore is handled for you.
You are paid when it sells
Once the watch sells at the agreed level, you are paid by bank transfer. If it does not sell, you still own your watch — consignment is an option, never a lock-in.
Consignment vs. an outright sale
Consider consignment if…
- ✓ The watch is desirable and likely to reward patient marketing
- ✓ You would rather aim for a higher final price than take an immediate offer
- ✓ You do not want the hassle, cost or risk of selling privately yourself
Sell outright if…
- ✓ You want certainty and payment now, not in a few weeks
- ✓ You would prefer a single clean transaction with no waiting
- ✓ The watch is one we are keen to buy directly today
Consignment — FAQs
What is the difference between consignment and selling outright?
Selling outright means we buy your watch directly and pay you now. Consignment means we sell the watch on your behalf, aiming for a higher final price; you are paid once it sells. One gives you certainty today, the other aims for more over a little more time.
What does consignment cost?
Consignment terms, including any commission, are agreed with you in writing before we begin — they depend on the watch, the target price and the expected time to sell. Get in touch and we will set them out clearly up front.
How long does it take to sell on consignment?
It depends entirely on the watch and current demand — some sell quickly, others reward a little patience. We will give you a realistic expectation for your specific watch before you decide.
What if the watch does not sell?
Then you still own it. Consignment is never a lock-in — if you change your mind or the watch does not sell at the agreed level, it is returned to you. We can also make you an offer to buy it outright at any point.
Not Sure Which Route Suits Your Watch?
Tell us what you have and we will set out both options honestly — an outright offer and a realistic consignment target — so you can choose with the full picture.
